Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox born December 25 of 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the name of her parents. Lennox was accepted into the Royal Academy of Music in London in the 1970s where she studied the flute piano as well as the harpsichord for three consecutive years. Lennox was able to survive on a student's stipend, and worked part-time in order to earn a living. Lennox wasn't happy with the quality of her performance compared with other students at the Royal Academy and began looking at other options. Lennox played the flute in the band Dragons Playground. She quit the group before they appeared in I.T.V's talent show New Faces. The singer was the primary voice in The Tourists a British pop band from 1977 to 1980. In this band, she met Dave Stewart who would later form Eurythmics. Lennox collaborated on her solo debut album Diva. It was released in 1993. The album had a tremendous success both critically and commercially. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album was released in October of 2014. The C.D. Lennox compiled her top blues and soul from childhood. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four improvised tracks for piano, which Lennox released in May, 2019. The E.P. First album of hers"Now I Letting You Go... was released as an accompaniment to her installation of work at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art.
