Luciana Paluzzi
Luciana Paluzzi, an Italian actress with plenty of the volume and big smile, was a star after the film of Gina Llobrigida. In the 1950s, Ms. Paluzzi worked on both sides of the Atlantic in movies such as Three Coins in the Fountain and Sea Fury. She was later offered the opportunity to be an American TV star in the role Simone Genet in the 1959 spy-weekly Five Fingers. She met with Bond producers in 1965 to discuss whether she could be considered as the leading girl Domino Derval for Thunderball. Terence Young, the director of the film, suggested giving Fiona Volpe the role as the villain. It was her one of only a handful of women that could not resist the temptation of Mr. Bond Perhaps as a punishment for this, Fiona is killed on the dance floor by her partners, who then James places her body on the table nearby and tells her "Do do you mind if your colleague sits on this one? The girl is dead." This blockbuster's box office success allowed Luciana Paluzzi to extend her European acting career into the 1970s, both in the US as well as Europe by starring in films like Captain Nemo And The Underwater City (1969), The Six Million Dollar Man (1973), The Klansman (1974) and The Greek Tycoon
